The following are examples legal cases that the Law Office of Eric Harron has handled. The results shown below show the types of cases we handle, and the results that we work very hard for everyone of our clients.

DWI Case Results:

State v. O. U.

Client was charged with a DWI second. He performed poorly on all the field sobriety tests. He was asked to count as well as say part of the alphabet where he mistakenly repeated numbers and letters. After he was arrested an empty bag containing cocaine residue was found in his possession.

Result: Not Guilty.

State v. F. M.

Client was charged with DWI. Client performed poorly on field sobriety tests. After his arrest client proceeded to scream obscenities and insults at the officer the entire way back to jail.

Result: Not Guilty.

State v. C. D.

Client was charged with DWI. Client had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. He was wearing disheveled and stained cloths and was wearing a wrist band indicating he had been at a dance club.

Result: Not guilty.

State v. E. K.

Client was charged with DWI with a breath test of double the legal limit. Client had also fallen asleep at the wheel and struck a curb while driving in front of a police officer.

Result: Evidence suppressed and case dismissed.

State v. B. N.

Client was charged with DWI. She had struck a high curb and damaged her fender and gotten a flat. She was driving down the road on the rim with part of her fender dragging the concrete. She admitted to consuming several drinks and taking prescription medicine which was not hers.

Result: Case dismissed.

State v. W. C.

Client was charged with DWI. After completing field sobriety tests she took a preliminary breath test registering over double the legal limit.

Result: Case dismissed.

State v. F. S.

Client was arrested for DWI after striking a parked car. With the two vehicles still connected my client then exits his vehicle and crawls into the car he hits and passes out. The police find him passed out after a neighbor calls the police.

Result: Case dismissed.

State v. F. S.

Client caused a major traffic accident which caused serious injuries to the passenger of the other vehicle. Client admitted to drinking, was in possession of an open bottle of liquor and performed poorly on all field sobriety tests.

Result: Case dismissed.

 

Assault Case Results:

State v. N. C.

Client engaged in an altercation with his girlfriend where ultimately she broke her foot which required surgery. He was charged with Assault family violence.

Result: Case Dismissed.

State v. W. E. 

Client had restrained his wife during a fight. Bruising and the cuts resulted.

Result: Case dismissed.

State v. G. K.

Client was charged with felony assault with injury to a disabled person. My client had been in an altercation which resulted in bruising when he subdued the purported victim in a nursing home.

Result: Case dismissed.

State v. W. K.

Client was charged with striking his wife during a heated argument in Williamson County.

Result: Case dismissed.

 

Drug Case Results:

State v. E. T.

Client was charged with possession of Marijuana in Williamson County. He was in possession of approximately a quarter of an ounce in his pants pocket.

Result: After a pretrial hearing, all evidence suppressed and the case was dismissed.

State v. C. N.

Client was in possession of Marijuana in Travis County. Client was had recently smoked marijuana in her car when she was stopped for a traffic violation. She had left part of the joint in her ash tray and had more marijuana in another part of the vehicle.

Result: Case dismissed.

Client v. G. M.

Client charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and cocaine along with a prohibited weapon pending in Williamson County.

Result: Case Dismissed.

State v. K. S.

Client was charged in Williamson County with DWI and five separate drug offenses varying from possession of a controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs. All drug cases were dismissed.

State v. S. F.

Client was charged in Williamson County with prescription drugs that weren’t his, a class A misdemeanor. The drugs were discovered in his pocket during a traffic stop.

Result: Case Dismissed.

 

Theft Case Results:

State v. D. L.

Client was charged with stealing a laptop.

Result: Case Dismissed.

State v. C. N.

Client was charged with shoplifting merchandise at Kohl’s department store.

Result: Case Dismissed.

State v. I. I.

Client charged with burglary of a habitation, a second degree felony in Travis County.

Result: Case dismissed.
