Public Intoxication Attorney
What is Public Intoxication?
In Texas, you are considered publically intoxicated if you have lost the normal use of your mental or physical facilities to the point you are a danger to yourself or others. However practically speaking, police often use this charge as a crowd control measure.
How Do You Handle Public Intoxication Charges?
Often times people are brought in on this charge with virtually no evidence. It is a shame because even the name, public intoxication, has a negative connotation that can affect employment, not to mention your criminal record. It is my goal when handling any public intoxication charge to put my client in a situation where their criminal record stays clean and they can ultimately get their arrest record expunged.
